It’s 4 p.m. and according to Chicago-based research firm Food Genius, 80 percent of Americans don’t know what they’re eating tonight for dinner. From busy working parents to empty nesters, and millennials-turned-foodies, takeout is taking on a whole new meaning. Gone are the days of pizza and Chinese as your only options. And with a desire for people to feel like they’ve cooked a healthy, homemade meal at home, places are popping up that offer everything from grab-and-go, locally sourced bites to farm-to-table meals that are ready in less than 30 minutes.
