Ginger has been used for centuries to soothe nausea and inflammation.

  • a knob of fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • boiling water
  • a lemon, optional
  • honey, optional

Put ginger slices in a big mug and cover with boiling water. Steep, covered, at least 10 minutes.

Squeeze in a little lemon juice and honey, if desired.
