Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients
- 4 ounces hot water (not boiling)
- 2 ounces Truro Vineyards Twenty Boat Rum
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar packed
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 splash pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground allspice (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Put everything except the rum and water into a mug and stir to mix thoroughly. Add the rum and stir to blend. Then top with hot water and garnish with the cinnamon stick if using.
