La Familia, as the name suggests, is a family affair! Chef Ever Amaya first opened the Taunton location in November 2014, alongside his two cousins: Chef Alex Amaya and Neto Amaya. Thanks to the success they enjoyed, La Familia expanded to Cumberland, Rhode Island, followed by a South Easton location, and subsequently a Wrentham site. Across these locations, La Familia maintains an elegant and welcoming atmosphere with design choices like a stone fireplace and dark wood accents.
La Familia specializes in Italian cuisine with a Portuguese flair, offering plenty of familiar dishes. Linguini Alla Vongole, Salmone à la Vodka, Portuguese Kale Soup, Antipasto Salad, and the Mozambique are just a few of the mouth-watering meals from which to choose. And we can’t forget dessert! Doesn’t a Limoncello Mascarpone Cake or Tiramisu sound perfect? For drinks, regular restaurant guests look forward to the special seasonal cocktail and mocktail menu.
In addition to dine-in options, La Familia provides catering services, offering both à la carte and specialized menu options. Private events, be it lunch buffets or bereavement gatherings, can be arranged with the restaurant manager.
