Yaz’s Table—Abington

When Yasmine Zakhary opened Yaz’s Table in Abington in March 2018, her goal was to honor her mother, celebrate her Egyptian heritage, and serve food made with homemade and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant quickly became a community favorite, blending tradition with innovation on every plate.

In August 2023, Zakhary expanded with the Yaz’s Table Boutique Café & Bakery, offering pastries, craft lattes, and specialty items that highlight Egyptian flavors. Guests can enjoy Za’atar-and-Feta-stuffed pastries, Basturma sandwiches, and Baklava Cinnamon Twists, alongside a rotating selection of baked goods.

Yaz’s Table is known for its adventurous menu where American favorites meet Middle Eastern staples. Diners will find Chicken Parmesan Shakshuka, Hawawshi Beef Naan Tacos, and Quinoa Tabbouleh Protein Bowls, as well as Falafel Wraps and Birthday Cake Waffles. The drink menu is equally creative, featuring a Peach Blossom Oasis Refresher, a Sweet and Spicy Bacon Bloody Mary, and even a kid-friendly specialty called Cleopatra’s Temple, a playful mix of cherry potion, ginger ale, and orange juice.

Beyond its daily menu, the restaurant offers catering services and private event options with customizable menus. Guests can also shop for house products such as coffee blends, za’atar, aioli, and whipped rose honey butter. Recently, Zakhary introduced an Egyptian-inspired spa collection, featuring body scrubs, foot soaks, and herbal salves. Through both her restaurant and café, Zakhary has created more than a dining destination. Yaz’s Table is a celebration of culture, family, and the flavors of Egypt.
