Blueberry Smoothie

Using frozen fruit helps make the smoothie thicker, which I prefer. Store the finished smoothie in mason jars for up to 2 days. If smoothie separates slightly, cover, and shake before serving.
Makes one 16-ounce smoothie.


  • cups water or more if needed
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional
  • 1 scoop plain protein powder optional


  • In a high-powered blender, add water, yogurt, blueberries, banana, honey, chia seeds, and protein powder (if using). Process until thick and creamy. Taste and adjust as desired.
